Rod Brummels (Osmond), President
Rod Brummels stepped into the office of President of the association in the late fall of 2012. He was an assistant coach in the Sertoma 8 Man All Star game in 1990, and was named as one of the head coaches for the 1995 game. He is currently in his fourth year at Osmond Community School after spending his first 31 years coaching at Clearwater Public School.

He states, "The association has always done a great job of promoting the 8 man brand of football, the caliber of athletes that play the game in the state of Nebraska, and the coaches within the association. I hope by serving as president of the organization I can, in some small way, give back to the association for all it has done for me and others."

Lance Howitt (Stuart), Vice President
Coach Howitt began his first term as Vice President in the spring of 2010. He has been a coach for 22 years, and has spent the last 8 years as the varsity head coach at Stuart. When asked why he chose to be Vice President, Coach Howitt stated, “I think 8-man football in Nebraska is a very special and worthwhile cause and I just wanted to help anyway possible. I also think that the coaches in the association are some of the finest people I have ever been around in my life”.

Coach Howitt’s roles as Vice President involves organizing the spring clinic and helping with the Sertoma and Nebraska vs. Kansas All-Star games.

Isaac Frecks (Alma), Secretary
Coach Frecks took over the secretary position in the fall of 2011.   When asked why he was interested in the position, he stated, “ I feel like this is a great association and I wanted to help out any way that I could. I look forward to working with the officers and the members of NEMFCA.”.

Coach Freck's position involves creating clinic brochures, keeping track of registrations, and all-star selections. Coach Frecks has been coaching at Alma since 2005 and in his spare time enjoys hunting and farming.

Brian Blevins (Lawrence-Nelson), Treasurer
Coach Blevins started his first year as Treasurer in the Winter of 2013. Coach Blevins has coached at Lawrence-Nelson for 4 years and two years at Stapleton. Over those years he has enjoyed attending the various clinics and all-star games put on by the NEMFCA and is eager to get involved and contribute to both NEMFCA and 8-Man Football. Coach Blevins is also the Athletic Director and Track Coach Lawrence-Nelson.

His roles as treasurer involves membership, selection committee, and maintaining the website. In his spare time he enjoys attending various sporting events, working out, and of course, watching film.
